On September 9, “Exploring the World of Japanese Cuisine” class took a field trip to Masugata shotengai at Demachi Yanagi, which is 15 minutes walk from the campus.
“We toured a local market with Poulton sensei, where he showed us many different shops and stalls, including one selling kelp from different places around Hokkaido that had different flavors. It all looked very delicious!” Caeden Polster (Washington University in St.Louis)
