On September 21, the disciplinary course “Exploring the World of Japanese Cuisine” visited the Kahitsukan Museum. 
Below are comments by Anson Alvarez (KCJS34, Washington University in St. Louis).
 

“At the Kahitsukan, we were shown a small collection of works created by the renowned artist and gourmet, Kitaōji Rosanjin. I knew very little about Rosanjin before going to the art museum, but after getting a look at some of his works and hearing a bit about his philosophy on food and dining, I could tell that he was not only a genius, but also that we shared many of the same views on food. I am very grateful that Professor Poulton let us experience this!”
