“友禅(Yuzen) workshop was a super fun learning experience! The workshop was set up so that no matter what people’s artistic abilities or prior experience was, we could all create beautiful designs. We were all able to choose unique patterns and colors to dye our tote bags, from animals to 漢字(kanji) to architecture. I loved seeing how everybody’s individual personalities and tastes showed on their bags. It was a great hands-on way to learn about traditional dyeing methods!”
